What You Will Be Part Of

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Radix, you will help build and scale the infrastructure that powers our growing data and analytics platform. You will work closely with engineering teams to create reliable systems, automated deployment pipelines, and internal tooling that allows developers to ship software quickly and safely. This role plays a central part in strengthening the operational foundation of Radix as our platform and data scale rapidly. You will also mentor infrastructure engineers and help establish the technical standards that guide how we build, deploy, and operate software across the organization.

What You Will Achieve 

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure that supports Radix’s growing data platform and application services.

• Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code practices using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies to ensure repeatable and reliable deployments.

• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines that enable engineering teams to ship code quickly, safely, and with high confidence.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, environment configuration, and deployment workflows to improve engineering velocity.

• Manage core infrastructure components including networking, compute, storage, and security across development, staging, and production environments.

• Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability across production systems to support high reliability and fast issue detection.

• Collaborate with engineering and SRE teams to improve system uptime, performance, and operational resilience.

• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident improvements to strengthen platform stability.

• Implement secure infrastructure practices including secrets management, access controls, and environment isolation.

• Mentor junior DevOps and infrastructure engineers while helping establish infrastructure standards and operational best practices across the engineering organization.

What Makes You a Strong Fit 

• You bring 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a related discipline.

• You have deep experience working with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS, and understand how to design scalable and resilient cloud environments.

• You are highly proficient with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.

• You have built and maintained CI/CD pipelines that support frequent, reliable deployments in modern engineering environments.

• You are comfortable working with containerized environments such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar orchestration systems.

• You have a strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability tools that provide visibility into production systems.

• You are naturally curious and enjoy improving systems, automating processes, and exploring better ways to operate infrastructure at scale.

• You demonstrate resilience when troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and can calmly navigate operational challenges in production environments.

• You are adaptable and thrive in a fast-moving environment where systems, tools, and processes continue to evolve.

• You enjoy mentoring others and helping engineering teams adopt best practices that improve reliability and developer productivity.
