What You Will Be Part Of
As a QA Engineer at Radix, you will be a key owner of quality across our analytics and AI-powered platform. You’ll help ensure that complex, data-driven features are delivered with reliability, predictability, and minimal defects, from early design through production release. Working closely with engineering, product, and design, you’ll influence how we build software by embedding quality into every stage of the development lifecycle.
What You Will Achieve
Design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, performance, and compatibility testing.
Build, maintain, and evolve automated tests across the test pyramid, including unit, API, and end-to-end UI coverage.
Expand and improve our automation frameworks using modern tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, and Postman/Newman.
Develop robust test data strategies, mocks, and repeatable test environments to support reliable automation.
Validate complex workflows involving data pipelines, AI components, APIs, and distributed systems.
Monitor feature health in production using logs, metrics, traces, and error-tracking tools to proactively identify issues.
Investigate defects deeply, collaborate with engineers on root-cause analysis, and drive issues to resolution.
Own quality end to end for assigned features, including test planning, acceptance criteria review, automation, and release validation.
Ensure releases meet performance, reliability, and security expectations before and after deployment.
Improve team-wide quality practices by driving shift-left testing, testability reviews, CI/CD quality gates, and clear definitions of done.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
3–6 years of experience in QA or test engineering within production software environments.
Strong foundation in testing methodologies, the SDLC, and modern quality engineering practices.
Hands-on experience with UI and API automation, ideally using Playwright or Cypress.
Solid understanding of API testing, schema validation, asynchronous flows, and backend or database interactions.
Curiosity and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to break down complex systems into effective test coverage.
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and cloud-hosted applications.
Comfort analyzing logs, errors, and system behavior, with familiarity or interest in observability tools.
Resilience and adaptability in fast-paced environments, with a willingness to own quality outcomes autonomously.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, and design teams.
Interest or experience in startup environments with high growth potential and evolving processes.
Bonus: exposure to AI testing, prompt validation, data-quality workflows, or using AI tools to accelerate QA efforts.
